Red carpet : John Terry at the London Football Awards
John Terry received the Outstanding Contribution to London Football honour at the capital’s annual football awards on Thursday evening.
Terry, who is awaiting his 700th Chelsea appearance having made his debut as a teenager in 1998, was in Battersea to pick up the award from Bob Wilson, the former Arsenal goalkeeper whose Willow Foundation charity organised the evening in Battersea.
It was a night which saw her husband celebrated for his achievements on the pitch.
But as Toni Terry took to the spotlight with her better half John Terry at the London Football Awards on Thursday night she managed to outshine him.
John Terry back was suave in a black three piece suit teamed with a white shirt and high shine brogues.
