Red carpet : The Best-Dressed Guys at the 2015 American Music Awards

Music stars came out in droves to the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday for the 2015 American Music Awards, which saw big wins for The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj and One Direction.

One Direction took home the night’s biggest honor, the fan-voted Artist of the Year Award, for the second year in a row, while country artist Sam Hunt took home the trophy in the all-genre New Artist of the Year category. Other big winners included Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd and Taylor Swift. (A full list of winners is below.)

Host Jennifer Lopez kicked off the show with a steamy dance number set to a montage of the year’s biggest hits. The night’s performers included Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande, Carrie Underwood, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Justin Bieber, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Leon Bridges, Demi Lovato, Walk The Moon, Coldplay, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, One Direction and The Weeknd.

Memorable duets included Alanis Morissette and Demi Lovato singing Morissette’s 1995 breakthrough hit, “You Oughta Know,” Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth dueting on “Marvin Gaye” and “Like I’m Going To Lose You” (a performance that ended with the two making out), and Luke Bryan and Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild singing their new song “Home Alone Tonight.”

30 Seconds To Mars lead singer and Oscar winner Jared Leto gave an emotional tribute to the victims of the Paris terror attacks, as well as to victims of violence around the world, before Celine Dion performed “Hymne à L’Amour” in French in front of images from the City of Lights.

These are The Best Looks from the 2015 American Music Awards Red Carpet.

Nick Jonas

Suit by Topman.

One Direction looked dapper as they arrived at the American Music Awards.

But while singers Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan went for a traditional grey or navy blue suit, singer Harry Styles went for a more unique look.

The 21-year-old heartthrob wore a white suit with a grey floral pattern, which called to mind Kim Kardashian’s infamous 2013 Met floral gala dress.
