David Duchovny films an episode of the new The X-Files series in Vancouver

He’s back: David Duchovny suited up to play FBI agent Fox Mulder in the X-Files, which was filming in Vancouver, Canada, on Monday

David, 54, looked sharp in a grey suit with a crisp white shirt and dark spotty tie.

According to Entertainment Weekly, creator Chris Carter and his cast are not calling this a reboot.
In their minds, Mulder and Scully never went away, they just dropped off the radar, so this is a revival.
Chris, who devised the original X-Files, told EW: ‘The series ended right after 9/11. A lot has happened since then. A lot of rollback of rights and liberties in the name of our protection.

‘We’re being spied on now, we’re being lied to — all things that, for me, remind me of when I grew up, which was right around Watergate.
‘I think we’re in similar and much more dire times right now.’
To whet fans’ appetites EW also revealed that the first two episodes will be called Mulder And Scully Meet The Were-Man and Home Again.

The new episodes will bow on Fox in January.
