Gerard Butler filming London Has Fallen
London Has Fallen is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Babak Najafi. It is a sequel to Olympus Has Fallen. The film stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman.
Filming of the second part of the saga began on October 24, 2014, in London, a Christmas break started in November with filming set to resume in February 2015.
With blood on his shirt, the 45-year-old was spotted shooting scenes for London Has Fallen outside one of the capital’s best known landmarks – Somerset House.
The story picks up in London, where the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances. His funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the Western world. But what starts out as the most protected event on Earth turns into a deadly plot to kill the world’s most powerful leaders and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. Only three people have any hope of stopping it: the President of the United States of America Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart), his formidable Secret Service head Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), and a British MI-6 agent who rightly trusts no one.
Filming scenes for the London Has Fallen has started this week in Bulgaria.
Bulgarian President visits London Has Fallen
President Rosen Plevneliev visited the set of the American production “London Has Fallen,” which appeared in Bulgaria. The president looked scene with Hollywood actor Gerard Butler, who was in Sofia for the filming of the second part of the blockbuster film.
London Has Fallen will arrive in theatres on October 2nd, 2015.
